Accelerated Math

Accelerated Math, or AM, is an individualized math program our students use to master math objectives.  Each student is placed into a math library by grades and moves at their own pace to master math objectives.  Students and teachers alike love the AM program here at Stanford.  Imagine a classroom where every student loves math, and teachers work one-on-one with students as they advance in their knowledge of math objectives.  That's AM!

AM tailors daily math assignments and gives immediate results to the student and teacher.  With careful monitoring by the teacher, students can quickly advance.  At the same time, students are given more practice until a particular objective is mastered when necessary.

Stanford is now in the top 10 performing Nashville elementary schools in math.  Our goal is to be the top performing school.  With the AM program in place, our students and teachers strive for continued excellence.
